Cycle Europe needed a website for their bicycle touring services. CodeGeek helped them achieve a beautiful web presence through a custom design.

The challenge

Cycle Europe (previously known as Bike Rentals Plus) had a dated site that didn’t stand out from their competition. The previous site’s menu navigation was busy and competed with their sidebar, distracting visitors’ attention. Internally, Cycle Europe also needed the site to integrate with their new business software as well as integrate the eCommerce platform with their banking system. Additionally, they wanted to dramatically update the site with a better presentation of their photography and reduce the amount of text on the site.

The solution

To integrate the public-facing website with in-house business data, CodeGeek created custom APIs to pull in information from Cycle Europe’s custom business software. In the back end CodeGeek developed a custom payment gateway to interface with their bank. The brand-new custom design of the site now engages visitors with an impressive banner image and distinct page layouts. By simplifying the navigation and organizing content more effectively, people have a more engaging website experience overall.

The results

Cycle Europe now has a beautiful website with an improved user experience that helps visitors find information readily, purchase tours, and rent bikes without issue. The site, built in WordPress, is more easily maintained by staff and allows for straightforward implementation of SEO campaigns.
