Welcome to our latest Project Roundup!
While the Geeks always seem to have plenty of irons in the fire, we like to cool off every now and then to reflect on what we’ve accomplished — together and for our clients.
And we had a great time working on these website projects that focus on some pretty big things: free public gardens in Steamboat Springs, using the latest technology to build for the future, and a local government website accessible for all.

Yampa River Botanic Park

Yampa River Botanic Park strives to cultivate a place of serenity that’s free for all, bringing the community together to connect with and learn about the wonders of nature.
The project deets:
- Yampa’s new website features a fully custom design using our own CodeGeek theme.
- The site was built to be WCAG 2.2 conformant and compliant with Colorado’s new web accessibility legislation.
- Speaking of accessibility, the calendar functionality is fully accessible, unlike most calendar plugins currently on the market.
- And the kicker? This project had an extremely fast timeline — three months from start to launch!

Hoskinson Contracting

Hoskinson Contracting aims to improve the lives of those in the communities they serve by building state-of-the-art facilities using the latest technology and innovation.
The project deets:
- The new Hoskinson Contracting website features a fully custom design using our own CodeGeek theme.
- Hoskinson has a unique brand identity that combines clean + techy with innovative construction techniques. So we made sure that the custom design we developed aligns beautifully with who they are.
- Another fun fact (for us) is that this website holds the distinction of being the very first to use our CGv4 theme!

Town of Frisco

Frisco, Colorado, is a mountain town with a reputation for being an ideal basecamp for adventurers of all types. The city’s Town of Frisco website offers information for residents and visitors alike.
The project deets:
- Custom design using our own CodeGeek theme
- Calendar functionality that’s fully accessible
- WCAG 2.2 conformant at the time of launch (built to be compliant with Colorado’s digital accessibility law)
Additionally, Town of Frisco wanted to simplify the navigation, which had grown quite a bit over the years.
- We opted for a simple dropdown menu system that directs users to landing pages for large categories of content.
- The most popular links are grouped together at the top of the homepage, so visitors don’t have to go far to find what they’re looking for.
