Celebrating Entrepreneurs at Fort Collins Startup Week

We are entrepreneurs. Not only do we as a CodeGeek team embody many of the traits that entrepreneurs are known for (such as passion, optimism, and tenacity), but we just can’t seem to get enough of the work we love. So when that CodeGeek office door closes for the day, many of us are punching in again at our side hustles.

From flying airplanes to marketing to even more web development, we celebrate—and encourage—the entrepreneurial spirit. That’s why as a company, CodeGeek is a proud sponsor and presenter of Fort Collins Startup Week.

Becoming a Fort Collins Startup Week sponsor was definitely one of the easiest decisions we’ve made. Not only was it a privilege to share in Fort Collins Startup Week’s vision of celebrating local entrepreneurship, but it also gave our company a tangible way to invest in the Fort Collins community. — Ron Zasadzinski, CodeGeek CEO & Founder

About Fort Collins Startup Week

Startup Week is a national movement that brings entrepreneurs and local leaders together to build momentum and opportunity around each community’s unique entrepreneurial identity. There are Startup Week events across the globe, but you don’t have go far to hear from diverse and innovative speakers. If you’re in or near the Fort Collins area between February 23-March 2, check out the incredible schedule of events at some of our favorite FoCo locales.

Our Startup Week Event: Prototyping as a Mindset | February 27, 2018

Even with more than 120 events being offered, we’re still a bit biased and insist that you won’t want to miss our Fort Collins Startup Week event: Prototyping as a Mindset.

UX designer Jens Nikolaus will discuss different reasons why prototyping is a good tool to have in your tool belt—whether you’re a designer or business owner. He will also present specific case studies from a designer’s point of view, using prototyping tools and processes, to highlight the power of prototyping for effective communication.

Our Fort Collins Startup Week panel last year
CodeGeek CEO & Founder Ron Zasadzinski spoke on last year’s Fort Collins Startup Week panel “From Solopreneur to Multi-Person Business.”

CodeGeek was once a startup with a handful of employees and a passion for creating great web experiences. Even though we’ve grown a lot in the last 15 years, that passion remains the same. We continue to partner with Fort Collins Startup Week because we want to be a part of building up our community and continue to foster that entrepreneurial spirit—in everyone.
