Web Resources
Web accessibility is an ongoing process. And that’s a good thing.
As technology and content platforms evolve, so must the steps we take to make the web as accessible as possible — for everyone.
That’s why CodeGeek is developing a number of DIY web resources to help you take your accessibility efforts to the next level.
From websites to PDFs to everything in between, our goal is to provide practical and actionable steps so that more and more people have access to your digital content.
#1 – How to Make PDFs Accessible
PDFs (Portable Document Formats) can offer many advantages, including preserving print design and making information sharing efficient.
However, PDFs can also have significant accessibility drawbacks, especially for individuals who are blind or visually impaired.
Download How To – PDF Accessibility* for an overview of how you can make your PDFs accessible.

#2 – An Accessibility (A11y) Adventure

Built right here in our Geekshop, An A11y* Adventure is an interactive and fun way to help others learn more about web accessibility.
*A11y is shorthand for “accessibility,” which has 13 letters. The 11 represents the letters between the A and Y, hence the 11.
