A Geeky Project

David Firth

David Firth’s top three objectives when he came to CodeGeek for website design and development were to re-energize, rebrand, and refocus his site.

The challenge

David Firth’s website had become outdated and didn’t reflect his growing success as a consultant, executive coach, speaker, author, and facilitator. His site and logo needed a makeover that would effectively showcase his wide variety of skills to his audience.

The solution

CodeGeek began with a rebrand, designing a new logo and implementing new type and color scheme throughout the site. Then we refocused and re-energized David’s site by modernizing its design, including providing a clean aesthetic with liberal use of white space. We also improved the site’s functionality by making it responsive and mobile-friendly, implementing an e-commerce system and appointment scheduling service, and adding key integrations such as MailChimp.

The results

With a site that now reflects who he is and what he has to offer, David Firth can showcase his business better. He is now able to sell his varied services through the site’s e-commerce component and highlight his many books. The extreme usability of the site’s WordPress back end allows David to easily upload and place his own videos and add new book pages. Within a month of launch, David Firth received lots of great feedback on the site content, and its new look and feel.
